There were a number of times where I wasn\u2019t in game for long stretches due to real life, but mostly during the NGE because it wasn\u2019t as interesting to me.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n EiF: Which server did you play on?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Abi\/Gail:<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>Starsider. For life.<\/span><\/p>\n EiF: Which classes and which was your favorite?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Abi\/Gail:\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n PreCU \u2013 Doc\/TKM (Dizzy & Knockdown!)<\/span><\/p>\n CU \u2013 Bounty Hunter\/Pistoleer\/Combat Medic<\/span><\/p>\n NGE – Spy<\/span><\/p>\n EiF: How many accounts did you own\/manage?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Abi\/Gail:\u00a0<\/strong>I had one that was my primary, but at the peak of the CU I had three.<\/span><\/p>\n EiF: What type of gameplay style do you most enjoy?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Abi\/Gail<\/span>:\u00a0<\/strong>PvP, difficult PvE, and Space PvP<\/span><\/p>\n EiF: What is a typical gaming session for you, what activities?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Abi\/Gail:<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong>There isn\u2019t really a typical \u2013 Sometimes I\u2019m in EiF crafting or running missions with friends, sometimes I\u2019m being dragged into an RP \u2013 sometimes I\u2019m playing another game like Battlefront or Skyrim. My gaming time has decreased a lot since having a kid. Now I can only squeeze in a little time after about 1930 when my daughter goes to bed.<\/span><\/p>\n EiF: What do you most enjoy about SWG?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Abi\/Gail:<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong>Being able to do things with my friends \u2013 secondary to that is the ability to do what I want how I want. I also like that you are not forced to play one specific class in one specific way. You can be or do almost anything you want in a way that you enjoy.<\/span><\/p>\n EiF: When you are not in-game, what do you enjoy doing?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Abi\/Gail:\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>Spending time with my little girl and making costumes. I\u2019ve been a member of the 501<\/span>st<\/span> for 12 years now and I\u2019ve been making costumes ranging from Star Wars, to Star Trek to Firefly and many more.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n My goal is to make it as movie or screen accurate as possible \u2013 to that effect, I own two screen used costumes (Starship Troopers and Stargate) and one screen used prop (The Dark Knight).<\/span><\/p>\n Time with my daughter involves going to the park, playing in the yard, coloring and watching either Star Wars, My Little Pony, Pokemon or Tangled.<\/span><\/p>\n EiF: <\/strong>What do you do outside of EiF \/ do for a living?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Abi\/Gail<\/span>:\u00a0<\/strong>I am a systems administrator for NASA. I also run a small decal business on Etsy.<\/span><\/p>\n EiF: <\/strong>What is your role with EiF? What does that entail?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Abi\/Gail:\u00a0<\/strong>The best description of my role is \u2018Gap Filler\u2019 \u2013 I do a little with textures, a little with code and as a sounding board for ideas from Halyn and Anishor. Occasionally I help Sandi with the community, but not very often since I think everyone would prefer I not interact with the community as much \u2013 I\u2019m a grumpy guy.<\/span><\/p>\n EiF: If you could have ANYTHING instantly in EiF, what would it be?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Abi\/Gail:<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong>CU Combat Medic \u2013 but just for me.<\/span><\/p>\n EiF: What gives you Developer\u2019s Crack?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Abi\/Gail:<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong>I am not a professional developer or programmer, so it\u2019s a learning opportunity for me. Working on EiF is a chance to experience something that I don\u2019t normally do day in and day out at work. That being said, I\u2019ll keep my day job. Coding wasn\u2019t for me in college and it still isn\u2019t something I\u2019d want to do to pay the bills.<\/span><\/p>\n EiF: Feel free to add anything else?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Abi\/Gail:<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong>It is interesting to go all the way back to Pre-CU SWG. I really did the most in the CU, so to have the system be the older version is like going back to when I very first got in to the game with my friends. It reminds me of the person I was back then and how I\u2019ve changed.<\/span><\/p>\n Also, I\u2019m looking forward to having a TRE file full of stuff I\u2019ve done to be added to the game and for players to start finding them.
